Mt. Diablo Unified School board trustees voted Tuesday night to keep winter sports at the district's six high schools going, and to consider keeping spring sports going at a later date.
So says the Contra Costa Times' Theresa Harrington.
The trustees said they were impressed by the fundraising efforts by parents and other communiy members and would use donations and other revenues to pay for the winter programs.
