One of the best features of local Contra Costa County news blog, claycord.com, is the occasional photo that its webmaster, the Mayor of Claycord, runs of cars doing silly things, like crashing into buildings, or, in this case, running into a fire hydrant. Check it out here.
Sure, it's not funny for the car, or for the Contra Costa Water District folks who have to clean up the mess. But, I have to confess, this photos and others like it give me a smile.

This is one of my favorit things about the site too. My only fear is that one day I will hit something and my picture will end up on claycord.
