Tattooed man robs WaMu bank on Oak Grove Road

Police are looking for a man in his early 20s, with a tattoo of angel wings spread across the back of his neck, who on Tuesday robbed the Washington Mutual Bank on Oak Grove Road near Ygnacio Valley Road.

Here is a photo of the suspected robber. Walnut Creek police Sgt. Lanny Edwards supplied the following details about the incident:

The robbery occurred just before noon Tuesday. The man, who also wore a mustache and goatee, entered the bank, showed a teller a note, indicating that he was robbing the bank. Although he didn’t show any weapon, the teller gave him an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber left the bank on foot and headed out in an unknown direction.

Officers from Walnut Creek and Concord searched the area but were unable to find the robber. He was described as white or Hispanic male in his early 20s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and with a thin build, short dark hair, brown eyes and above-mentioned mustache, goatee, and angel wings tattoo.
