Apparently, another Quincerñera gets out of control in Walnut Creek

Apparently another Quinceañera party held in Walnut Creek turned violent, the second in about a month. The Quinceañera is a traditional celebration in Hispanic culture to celebrate a girl’s 15th party, and it took place Saturday night at the city’s Shadelands Civic Arts Center.

The DUBC reports that a major fight broke out, involving 40 people. Police logs show that a major disturbance was reported just after 11 p.m. at a party attended by 200 or more people. But when police arrived the crowd had dispersed.

As I reported earlier, police also were called to a disturbance the night of December 27, this one at Heather Farm Community Center and also involving a Quinceañera. The Mayor of Claycord at Claycord heard from one of his tipsters that the fight involved a group of 30. Police received reports of participants yelling “Northside” and “Southside.” But when police arrived, they couldn’t find a fight. However, they did find graffiti, in white paint, spread throughout the community center. One of the words tagged on the center was “insane.” The other writing was unrecognizable.

Need to get some border patrol agents to keep those gangsters from Concord out of prisine Walnut Creek.

This is a horrible thing for you to say, insulting to Hispanic people, who, by the way, will be the majority in the state sometime soon. Not all of them are gansters. And you also insulted Concord, a really nice city where my daughter lives. Good people live there. Not just gansters.

Yep, typical thugs from Concord. I've been railing against them for years over on Claycord.com but most of the time everyone berates me. I personally think its time to call ICE.

Fights happen. Reporters report the news. I'm just glad I was no where near there at the time. What a mess!

WC Friend is no friend. Where does it say in the article the people are from Concord? We have a lot of hispanics in Walnut Creek. Bring the ICE into Walnut Creek, I am sure many restaurants will be shut down...

Bottom line, this type of behavior is not acceptable anywhere in our country.

Stop the racist and insults of the Hispanics, it is wrong. Instead set the example.

Hey Rocket Scientist,

"Instead set the example"...Uhh beleive me I wasn't the one at a lawless Quincinaera celebration. Obviously my example is not being followed. Hence the suggestion to bring in ICE. Alternatively, I recommend a "border" wall be built between WC and Concord in order to keep the Concord thugs out of our city.

WC Friend,

It is time you leave America, building a wall between cities? You are crazy and obviously uneducated. There are plenty of WC thugs too. But we are all one community, no matter what side of the street you live on (I live on the WC/Concord border). I don't judge my neighbors because they live on the Concord side.

You my friend have got to go with your attitude. You are only polluting WC.

Set the example and be a concerned citizen, not a racist discriminating one that your comments say about you. One city does not cause another cities problems. Oh you are so frustrating and I pray that I do not know you.
