WC police arrest burglary suspect

Police this afternoon arrested a 22-year-old Concord man on suspicion of breaking into a car parked in the 2700 block of Oak Road.

Sgt. Lanny Edwards says that police arrested Armando Ochoa. He is suspected of being the man someone saw breaking into a car and then fleeing on a bicycle. Police responded to the report of a man breaking into car, and found Ochoa on nearby Jones Road.

The witness identified Ochoa as the man seen breaking into the car, and police found Ochoa in possession of the items taking from the car. Edwards says Ochoa was arrested on suspicion of auto burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was booked into Martinez county jail.
