The Court is expected to announce its decision at around 10 a.m.
The website, DayofDecision.com says:
Depending on what the court decides, we will either PROTEST or CELEBRATE
We will PROTEST if:
-- The court upholds Prop 8, and invalidates the 18,000 same-sex marriage licenses that California already issued; or,
-- The court upholds Prop 8, but upholds the 18,000 same-sex marriages already performed, which would be a cruel, but pyrrhic victory for equality.
We will CELEBRATE if:
-- The court rejects Proposition 8 and says that same-sex couples are entitled to the marriage rights that heterosexual couples already have.
East Bay events are scheduled:
Walnut Creek: 5 p.m. at the corner of Mt. Diablo Boulevard and Broadway Plaza
Concord: 5 p.m. at Todos Santos Plaza

People who voted yes on prop 8 can BLOW ME!
those of us who voted yes wouldn't know how, but some of your NO friends would
Yikes, I wonder if the "other " camp is also planning protests or celebrations. I wonder what it will be like in Downtown WC tomorrow, does anyone know if WC PD is expecting any huge crowds?
well, i think that they should NOT protest that the court allowed the 18,000 because that clearly OPENS THE DOOR for a discrimination lawsuit by a same-sex couple in the courts - one that would win on discrimination against them per the 18,000 already approved.
A court can find Prop 8 okay to be a law on the grounds that they did and still find themselves later ruling that precedence has been set by the 18,000.
I personally think it was a very clever way to open that door.

I assume you tried to imply that "blowing" is somehow exclusively related to gay sex. But your statment only shows how ignorant you are which reflects very badly on "those of you who voted yes".
