Talk about your fashion-challenged bank robber. (Sorry about the aside, but the fake goatee is just too pathetic.)
Okay, a man robbed the Patelco Credit Union on North Broadway just after noon Thursday by handing the teller a note, saying he had a gun, according to Sgt. Lanny Edwards.
The teller didn't see a gun, but handed him an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt, and the robber fled the bank on foot. Officers searched the area, includng with a K-9 unit, but the robber was not found.
The robber was described as a white guy in his late 20s, about 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, and with an athletic build.
More about his look: short dark hair and that "dark-colored fake goatee"; a dark green sweatshirt, aviator style sunglasses, gray hooded sweatshirt with "Berkeley" written across the front, and dark sweatpants with a vertical stripe on each leg.
Anyone with information is asked to call (925) 943-5844.

If the guy went to Berkeley, or can even spell "Berkeley," I'll eat that hat. Go Bears!
Damn Cal hooligans, they're really ruining this place. Just kidding. I have noticed they are quite arrogant and obnoxious compared to Stanford grads for some reason.
