Bay Bridge--amazing!--to open around 7 this morning
Just catching this on CBS5 and KCBS. It will officially open at 7 a.m. this morning!
Guess they worked hard all night, and everything came together. However, some detours will take place.

Not sure how amazing this is. How many years did it take to build the Golden Gate Bridge compared to what's going on with just the temporary extension? So much red tape and gov't oversight now vs then. I hate it!
