Transformer problem leads to traffic delays tonight on Ygnacio Valley

The Walnut Creek police have issued alert that motorists can expect traffic delays on eastbound Ygnacio Valley until about 10 p.m.

The department had to close the third lane at Homestead Avenue, so that PG&E could do emergency repair work on a transformer.

PG&E has reported an unspecified number of customers affected by outages in the neighborhood around Homestead Avenue.
