Walnut Creek man arrested in Lafayette, accused of soliciting sex with a minor

A 44-year-old Walnut Creek man, Guy Allan Quinton, 44, was arrested on suspicion of soliciting a 16-year-old girl for sex in an Internet chat room.

Quinton was arrested Tuesday while driving in Lafayette, the Contra Costa Times reports, and a warrant for his arrest was discovered. He allegedly sent sexually explicit material to the girl several months ago and suggested they meet for sex. He was booked into Contra Costa County Jail in Martinez with bail set at $150,000.
