Teen-ager robbed by four other teens, hit by their truck

A 15-year-old boy was listed in good condition at John Muir Medical Center after being robbed by four teenagers Friday afternoon who backed over him while making their escape.

Lt. Shelley James said the boy was riding his bicycle with several friends at about 4:40 p.m. in a parking lot near North Wiget Lane and Shadelands Drive.

One of the three passengers of a F-150 Ford approached him and took some cash. The passenger got back into the truck, which had four other teens, all around 18 years old, in it. While backing away, the truck rolled over the victim, then drove off on Wiget Lane towards Ygnacio Valley Road.

Officers checked the area, but couldn't find the robbers. Anyone with information is asked to call the Walnut Creek police department at (925) 943-5844.
