Arrests made in stabbing at North Main Street car wash parking lot

Walnut Creek police Monday night arrested two Walnut Creek men in connection with a stabbing that occurred during a fight in the parking lot of Walnut Creek Carwash on North Main Street.

Jorge Argueta, 48, and Rogelio Argueta, 38, both confessed to stabbing two other men after they were arrested, said Sgt. Tom Cashion.

Police received reports of a fight involving five people at the car wash in the 2900 block of North Main Street at around 8:40 p.m.

Officers found two victims suffering from stab wounds. They were taken to John Muir Medical Center with significant injuries, Cashion said. After surgery, both were listed in stable condition.

Officers identified Jorge Argueta and Rogelio Argueta as the assailants, arrested them on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and took them to the police department, Cashion said. After giving statements to detectives, the two were booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on $90,000 bail. Witnesses are asked to contact Detective Greg Leonard at (925) 256-3518.

Martha,

We miss you.

We need your perspective on the local news here in Walnut Creek. I hope all is well with your family and that you are rested.

If so, let's get going! It may take awhile to get people to tune in again, but they will.

And the other media needs to see what you have to offer...

Thanks!

PS I am no longer interested in Patch. Nothing special about finding things I don't like about Walnut Creek, when there are so many things they could be writing about, to lift people up!

Thank you Dakota. That's nice to hear. I've been a bit lazy and trying to take a break from the online world. Figuring out how to do Crazy again, perhaps in a new way. Thanks for the well wishes for my family. They are all good.

Hey CIS,

How are you?

Your blog has a few cobwebs. I know because my brain is getting a few cobwebs as I get older...
