Quote o' the Day: Coping with fear

I woke this morning feeling dread, not really for myself or anyone close to me but something more general--the state of the world, maybe? Anyway, here's a quote from Marie Curie, who pioneered studies into radioactivity and was the first person honored with two Nobel Prizes.

Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.

--Curie (1867-1934) was a Polish-French physicist and chemist whose worked helped overturn established scientific principles and shape the 20th century.
