Good morning Sunday! Good morning Mt. Diablo and all of us who live beneath it!
This breathtaking photo of a sunrise over Mt. Diablo comes to us, courtesy of Walnut Creek photographer extraordinaire Bob Brittain. Thanks Bob for letting me greet readers in such a beautiful way.
I hope there never comes a time when I take views of Mt. Diablo for granted. I love getting off BART after work or coming around the curve on 24 and seeing it in all the different seasons.
Only lived in WC for 5 months...sadly, we relocated home to Indiana, and I've missed Mt. Diablo every SINGLE day. I even view a webcam of it every day, and I've been enjoying seeing it turn that vibrant shade of green that it was when we first arrived there last year! (It will be a year on the 16th!) So, thank you so much for sharing this beautiful photo! *sniff sniff* (My husband was promoted, so it was a good thing, but I'd rather be broke in California, surrounded by beauty, than comfortable, back in flat and boring Indiana! Hehe!)

I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?
Totally Photoshopped.
I did crop the photo to make it look like a panoramic shot. No other changes.
We should preserve all views of our mountain....it defines our community and deserves our respect.
